What kind of weird headlight is that?

Someone's selling this WRx on kijiji, it looks like a fake or maybe a japanese model? 4999 CAD brand spankin new. It has a weird headlight. Also, it's missing the graphics. And the cover on the right side of the engine is grey and does not say Yamaha.

Looks like he removed all the stickers, cut out the Yamaha logo, put it back on, and has the transmission plastic cover removed.

As for the headlight, I can't say.

EDIT: Didn't notice the brand new bit. Not sure, in that case.

It's a Yamaha WR-250X that's been messed with.

The headlight unit is an aftermarket one with built-in turn signal lamps (which I think looks like poop), and the stock front turn signal lamps have been removed.

What's the point of having blinkers that close to the headlight? Doesn't seem like you'd be able to see them with the headlight being so much brighter and so close.

that looks like the dakar dual sport headlight. maybe someone has removed the parts they want and rigged a few things back together. If you could get a straight answer maybe it would be worth it but I think someone is pulling something calling that new.

I saw this one as well and I would be very cautious about it. Chances are it was wrecked and fixed up with a generic plastic kit, new odometer and then trying to be passed off as new. If it was indeed new why is the chain dirty?

This one is a much safer bet for a practically new bike.
