Virginia city race/ride and hi elevation

Last year some buddies and I rode the Desert 100 in Washington
This year in memory of my old riding buddy his two boys and I are riding the Virginia City grand prix.
Has anybody ridden thier Wr on this race and How did the hi elevation affect the bike?
Do I need to do anything to compensate for the elevation?
I have done the usual mods and an FMF pipe but no programmer.
still have stock gearing but plan to go to a 47 tooth rear sprocket.
Any advice would be appreciated
