How much toeroom do I need in a MX boot? Empty
PostSubject: How much toeroom do I need in a MX boot?   How much toeroom do I need in a MX boot? EmptySat Mar 12, 2011 7:51 pm

I went shopping for some MX boots (Fox Comp 5 Offroad) and found out the size 12 is much smaller than any other size 12.
Unfortunately size 12 was the largest they had. I found them in SZ 13 online but I am not sure whether I should order them or not. According to the fox website measuring chart and my foot measurements I would only have 1/4" room in front of my toe.

How are those MX boots, will they get softer and wider? Is a quarter inch of room enough?

It's a personal decision.
Myself, I like having no extra room and no gaps anywhere around my foot.
I like it snug as a bug in a rug. :)

The boots need a few rides to "break in" and become easier to bend (new, they're tough to bend).
I'm not sure about them getting any wider, though.
