Season opener at Qatar.... It's on Speed as I type.

Let's get those Yamahas to the front boys !

Looks like a Yamaha sandwich at the moment.

Motor perhaps....

Ya still have to turn it left and right and be able to haul it all down from 200 plus.

Should be a good season.

The paddock buzz is that the RC-212Vs have a new clutch and/or transmission design that settles the bike better upon corner entry.

How is the earthquake effecting the Japan bike makers? I've read that Honda had to shut some plants. Will this effect the Repsol team in getting new parts? I've also read Yamaha didn't have to close any.

The Japan GP was obviously canceled and the races moved out accordingly.

Looks like a Spanish Armada break away with Lorenzo and Pedroza.

I watched the races, but they were mostly unremarkable except for the above challenges.

Results are here: http://www.motogp.com/en/Results+Statistics/2011/POR/MotoGP/World+Standing

Teammates Rossi and Hayden in back-to-back 4th/5th position ? Interesting. Does it mean anything at this point ? dunno

The most remarkable is Ben Spies performance thus far. ~ shrug ~ Not sure what's going on there.

Spies seems to be going through a sophmore curse.
Last race, a tool used to block the fuel tank vent while on the grid was left in place and hampered his riding during the race.

I couldn't believe that. Whoever was the clown on the pit crew responsible should be fired.
