My Old Pics

The oldest pics I have are from this day in the fall of 1983.
The bike is a 1981 Honda XR-250R.
I had stylish riding gear back then. ;)


This is my 1981 Yamaha MX-175H, which was basically a 1978 DT-175E without the street-legal stuff on it.


My 1982 Yamaha IT-175J, a great little bike.
Little only in engine displacement - it felt very good and was very capable.


The only green bike I have ever bought, my 1986 Kawasaki KDX-200C1.
In typical Kawasaki tradition, something vibrated loose and the side cover didn't feel like posing for the shot. :)



My 1990 Yamaha YZ-250A1.
Back in these days, any talk of a 4-stroke motocross bike from Japan was a joke.


Today's ride, my 2008 WR-250XX.
Another very fun bike. :)

guy just rolled into the driveway last weekend with a 86 kdx that looked brand new. he just paid 700$,had a works type hand made pipe. thing was sweet.

Saw one of those old YZ at the bike park today, would like to own a 2smoke one day

The KDX was a good bike and I rode one hare scrambles with it, but I just wasn't a Kawasaki guy. :)

That YZ was a really fun bike.
My, how time flies - the bike is now genuinely old. :)

I love those early 80s Yamaha IT bikes!

I remember racing against those darn KDX Kaws! They were really great bikes and I finally gave in and bought one!
