my 1st ride on my wr250x

hey everyone i just got done riding my brand new 09 blacl wr250x.('')It had 0 miles when i started and now it has 6.1 lol. but heres y my ride was short : i kinda dont have my motorcycle liscense yet ('')lmfao. so i went and rode on back roads by my house. i live in alaska and i bought my wr back in february and its been snow and ice covered roads since i bought it. so ive had to watch it sit brand new in my garage since. then i went on vacation april 2 to the 26. then i just found out my job is making me go to washington on friday for 25 days('')and i couldnt wait anymore i was getting sick of reading how badass this bike was but i havnt even even ridden mine yet so i just did a short ride so i could say i did it!

now my 1st impressions!

it was Amazing i couldnt believe how fast it was only doing 1/4 -1/2 throttle pulls and i was very impressed i dont think it needs anymore power but this is my 1st street legal bike ive always rode regular dirtbikes so to me it was cool t see how fast i was going with a speedometer .

later as i get more comfortable with it im sure ill do performance mods but for the time being im very comfortable with it bone stock . all ive done as mods so far is zeta handguards with smoke flashers and 12o clock labs drc edge 2 tail light with integrated turn signals and i love my bike.

i cant wait to do my motorcycle test and get my liscense so i can ride again legally lol

You should get frame sliders, bar ends, and axle sliders...

i got my permit today now i got to wait till i get back to get my license. and yes i want to get sliders and all that but idk where to get them

I went with T-Rex frame and Supermoto Engineering front and rear axle sliders. First purchase, and though I haven't dropped the bike yet, feel it was money well-spent.

I have the exact same setup. I like both and have tested both!
They hold up really well and I would also get the handle bar ends which totally saves your handles.
