Well I've been a little hard on 'er.
Need some new bars.
7/8 renthals are bout $90.
Another shop had generic bars for $40, similar looking.

Question: Cheap bars should be good, eh?...

Next question: Whats the difference between CR bend and KX bend?

Third question: Any advice?

.........Thanks

I always say, cheep stuff costs less
They will bend easier but hey, if yer just looking for replacements get the cheeps and quit falling down :)

Just to give the opposite opinion - I'm happy to spring for Renthals in a bend I like & know that I have a good chance of surviving a crash without bending the bars!need bars Coffee

I just purchased some Tag Metal bars in a "YZ double bend" hopeing they are high enough to not need bar raisers and hoping the YZ bend suits me....... they were cheap enough though at $29 AUD.

Thanks for the replies.

Guess I shouldn't consider pricier bars till I proof responsible enough to care for a cheap set...may take a little while Very happy

...I also want to ask which bend is stock or nearest to? Stock seems comfortable so far.

I've found the best way is go to a store that has a selection and take your stock bars or the ones you are trying to match and compare. Bend, rise etc are all important but don't forget width. If the replacement set is wider--even by only a couple of inches it could impact your cable slack. I've trimmed a lot of aftermarket bars to get them to where I want them for my use. One thing I don't do is go to compare bars at the local brick and mortar store them order on line--I give my business to the store that has them there for me to look at and compare. Take a picutre of your cable routing before removing the stock ones--makes it easier.

I've got the Renthal McGrath bend which is close to stock, but isn't bang on stock bend. thumb
