Front brake disc loose?

Subject: Front brake disc loose? Sat May 21, 2011 5:29 pm

Has anyone had an issue with the front brake disc moving slightly from its mount? When I squeeze the front brake lever, and rock the bike forward and back, I can feel and see the disc move about a half mm...... (about 1/32 for the amuricans) ..... anyone?

That's why it's called a floating rotor, to allow for the rotor to expand when it heats up and help stop rotor warp. :hmmm:

It does make you think at first. All of my bikes have this movement even my mountain bikes with floating discs. Very happy
