do you have a link for the repair etc? i'm thinking of making a similar unit...used that cutting board material  on the klr and  is wearing very well.

PS I should add it hasn't worn at all since the last pic, this stuff is waaay harder than the stock plastic and I don't think I will ever have to touch it again.

Thanks for your input guys. The more I read and the more I think about it... Paying a mechanic to put JB weld on my swing arm was probably a waste of time and money. I read somewhere that someone used JB weld on their swing arm so I asked the mechanic to do the same. I will pay more attention to my chain for now on for sure.
