If that's a concern, and it sure will be if you're going anywhere near Phoenix.....why not go with the MX helmet and goggles?
I haven't worn a full-face helmet in over a year and don't foresee wearing one again any time soon.
I love the openness of the MX helmet. Goggles are easy to switch between tinted and clear.
A windstopper balaclava for cold-weather riding works great too.
Rain is about the only drawback for the MX helmet and goggles.
I do love the black & white graphics though. Cool helmet.
