My chronological age is listed on the left.

I don't feel any different than I did when I was in my 30s. I just can't figure out who that old guy is looking back at me from the mirror in the mornings.

But I've lived and crashed like crazy so I use dog years which means I'm about 175. This explains why, as Anthony Bourdain said, I feel like ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag.

I can see why older folks are WR250R/X owners. Most of us have been there and done that and know its the rider and not the bike that determines the true bigness of your zucchini.

When you see someone running 2nd or 3rd overall in a desert race on a clapped out 125, you know it's the rider! I'm getting ready to hit 51 myself. I'm pretty much done with the big bikes. My Ninja 650R and "detuned" KTM300 (and soon to have WR250R) are more than enough bike.

I'm willing to bet that one of these 250R's uncorked and revved like they should be, will have more than enough power.
