license plate light

with all the mod out there the state of texas requires a light on the plate.... now what about you and your state? has anyone got a ticket for this?
Also I dont want to do a bunch of mods and next year take the bike for an inspection and have the dealer say no can do.

Or just go with the Edge tail light it has a license plate led light integrated.

I used a tiny led from superbrightleds.com.

Bright as crap and you can't even see it stuck on the back of my taillight.

Best part is it was $1.99 - I bought 6 of them.
