VW Golf 1,6 Aut MK1 -82
Engine: 1,8T AGU 150HP from golf GTI -98
Transmission: from same donor car 5sp manual
Wheels: 14" 8" in front and 9" in rear
Converted to diskbrakes in the rear and 16V disks in front
Adjustable pressure between rear/ front brakesystem
16V master brakecylinder
Berg Cup kit (arches) from germany, car is about 4 inches wider in total.
urethanebushings where possible
adjustable chassie from Weitec
8-point 2" roll cage
custom engine mounts
special designed 2,5" downpipe
front linkage is all new parts, rear is blastered and restored
Front arches is gutted and scraped/ repainted
Rear arches is scraped and reweld to make more room
dashboard is from VW caddy and instruments is from golf 16V
interior is covered in alu and 2 seats welded to scirocco chassies
interior floor is also scraped and cleaned from asphaltcarpet
Huge Intercooler....
Money and time spent so far.....too much....
Will be road legal.
First aim is about 280HP
Second aim is about 400HP.......
Thanks to DahlbäckRacing the build seems to be finnished after 2 years.
I know the new owner and he has promised to help me finnish the last tricky parts with electric and fuel.
Then its up to me to do the paintjob and the finnishing touch before inspection to be road legal.
