Another fun mounting place with low cost is to remove the round yellow reflector from the fork leg on the non- radiator side and mount the Roam there via the threaded hole on it. Go to hardware store and get a couple rubber washers, lock washer and a 1/4" thread bolt or threaded knob. Total cost $2-4.00.

Put the lock washer on inside and rubber washers between reflector bracket and the Roam and you have a really sturdy, vibration free mount. Just did a really tight 35 mile dual-sport event with this setup and it was rock solid.

Have fun with the Roam.

that sounds awesome. i have been trying to think of other mounting locations and that sounds like a good place.

have you done the 60fps hack trick on the roam? from the videos on the web it looks better at 60fps but its not worth it for me to switch modes back and forth from 30 to 60.

just curious...

No I haven't done the hack. Wasn't aware, can you send me a pm with info on where to locate the info on the web.
Don't know that it is worth the extra editing overhead for the bouncing that off-road does, but would be interested to try it out.
Here's a link to video I just took this weekend at a Dual-Sport ride.
