Just got done lowering as much as I could. Next was a more aggressive tire
for offroad where I ride the most. Searched & searched and finally decided
on the new Kenda 772 Parker DT and a Pirelli Scorpion Pro. Don't like the
fact they are both almost an inch taller. So much for my lower seat height.
As long as they work good I can live with the height. Just got done
installing and can't wait to ride, but the weather here in Flor-i-duh has
been super wet lately. Doesn't look like it's going to improve too quickly
if Isaac comes to visit. I will report what I think as soon as I can.

Got a ride in today, about 25 miles on road 15 off. The off part was
was a big mix of conditions. Lots of sand, some sloppy wet, some
dry and fairly deep. Water everywhere from all the rain we've been
having. Here's my initial opinion. On road, squirmy, not very secure
feeling. That's the price you have to pay for having those big
knobs. Off road, fantastic. It was hooking up in anything I got
into. Lots of sand here in FL, so I think this combo is gonna work.
I really only ride the road to get to the trails. I can live with the
road manners for short jaunts. The tire height definitely changed
the gearing. Now I see why people change. I was doing 2nd gear
road starts with it stock, but not now. By the way I ran 12lb
front, 16 rear for the ride today.
