My rear stock TW is at the wear bars (after 8k miles), right now I ride 100% street so I'm looking for something that offers better handling.
The Distanzia's seem popular and I know some people have fitted 90/90-21s but according to Avon's site that size requires a wider rim.
The 80/90-21 is rated for a 1.60 rim but it's rather skinny. In looking at the distanzia specs they list a 3.00-21 which is almost as wide as the 90/90-21 (91mm vs 92mm) but is rated for a 1.60 rim. It doesn't seem as available as the 80/90 or 90/90 but I've found US sites that have them.
What do people think? Is there any reason not to run 90/90-21, if so does the 3.00-21 sound like a good idea?
