I just got some X wheels. My manual only has tire pressure for the DOT dirt tires that came on the WRR. What is a good starting point for pressures on stock tires? I have no street experience so I don't even know where to begin.

I tried around 25 at the track... the tyres grip too much and the bike just want to go straight (pushing)

I am comfortable at about 28 hot

Too much grip and it's pushing? Too much grip would tend to lead to oversteer, not understeer(pushing).

dunno

maybe different riding method?

That happened during my last trackday... I started with 25... but the bike was just hard to ride... then I pumped the pressure back to 28... everything was back to normal...

perhaps the tyres are too old (too many heat cycles? dunno )... afterall, I am still on the stock at 12000KM mark Very happy
