| NICE.. I plan on buying dirt wheels for the X this spring. I took the X for a about a 40 mile pre ride ( just to check things out ) a few days ago it sure handles diffrent then my R. I watched the you tube videos and it looks like the tires stick to the road but I just dont trust them yet. | |

| I didn't ride my X terribly long with the Battleax's on it, but they sure seemed like they stuck well.

| Any tricks for not nicking the black wheels with your tire spoons? I have never balanced my tires but I did buy some weights the last time I was at the bike shop so I am going to give it a shot. I also bought one of these for xmas. Hope its not a total POS. http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/lifts-stands/1500-lb-capacity-atv-motorcycle-lift-2792.html

| I've heard of people using a plastic protector - like a piece of plastic milk jug.

| set CO mode from -5 to 0 based mostly on idle response and rider experience. Subject to revision after riding, of course.
I then did an OCI with Rotella T6, a Yami filter

| I find the balanced D606's to be pretty darned smooth on the highway up to 80 mph actual. I didn't go faster than that due to wind.
