I bought this for my son for xmas. Put new grips on it, painted the muffler guard black and got new levers for it today.

now that's an Xmas gift

Warp9 front conversion wheel got here. Looks pretty good.

NICE.. I plan on buying dirt wheels for the X this spring. I took the X for a about a 40 mile pre ride ( just to check things out ) a few days ago it sure handles diffrent then my R. I watched the you tube videos and it looks like the tires stick to the road but I just dont trust them yet.

I didn't ride my X terribly long with the Battleax's on it, but they sure seemed like they stuck well.

My WRR is getting:

Nobody bought me anything for my bike but I picked up some cheap thor boots, elbow and knee pads online that were old stock.

Colder than heck outside, so I brought tire mounting stuff into the living room.

Any tricks for not nicking the black wheels with your tire spoons? I have never balanced my tires but I did buy some weights the last time I was at the bike shop so I am going to give it a shot.

I've heard of people using a plastic protector - like a piece of plastic milk jug.

set CO mode from -5 to 0 based mostly on idle response and rider experience. Subject to revision after riding, of course.

I then did an OCI with Rotella T6, a Yami filter

w9 front wheel was an easy installation with stock spacers.

That is correct. You are confused.

D606 rear tire mounted. Had ta' go kinda' wide owing to the wide X back rim.

I find the balanced D606's to be pretty darned smooth on the highway up to 80 mph actual. I didn't go faster than that due to wind.
