Hello all,
Great site.
Severe noob requests here.

I have a 2008 WR250X bought used last July from the original owner. Its got 8300 miles on it and he had the maintenance plan from the dealer (Ridenow) up until about 1000 miles before selling to me. He's given me copies of all service performed.
I haven't owned a bike since the mid 80s (1981 YZ80, it won, I lost) but want to perform as much maint myself as possible. I can work a wrench, but really I just need to look at DIY necessities for the garage. Anyone got a list?
2nd question is what are the highly recommended mods/maintenance tips/tricks I should consider for this bike? I don't plan on putting an Athena top end in it or anything that involved. Anything easy/inexpensive for a noob for starters.
The only thing I have planned for upgrades are a bash plate and some of them Shinko 244's to get some off-road suitability.

thanks!
