Dunlop D606 rear width

Just got my D606 rear and Parelli MT21 front. The D606 was ordered in a 120-90 / 18. Thought I would post some opinions because I'm not 100% pleased yet. I believe I should have ordered this tire in a 130. The tire is very nobby and on top of that, is only available in a 90. This made the tire very tall and ROUND. In my O, would have liked to see this tire like 140 in the rear. Does anyone agree or are there any benifets to a narrow tire? Here is a pic!!!!!!!!







Does the tire just look narrow bec. it isnt mounted yet? I think I should have gone 130...

I've gone through two rear D606 tires and found that the 120/90 is just right.... great in mud, gravel, and dirt roads. The fatter 130 won't help much unless you ride lots of deep sand, and besides, the 130 will be heavier (requires more power to turn it). I think you'll see it will do quite well.

Narrow tires work better unless your on a heavy bike and riding in soft sand.
Even bikes with twice the power as the wr has run 110 and 120 width rear tires, thats the size that works best.
