Here's the exotic destination of my ADVENTURE! Walgreens!
Next Banner Pic?I picked up my kid's prescription medication. I really wowed the locals (Walgreenians).
Then back to the rugged life at CAMP SHOVEL (where I spent the night BTW
)
On a practical note, I routed my expedition straps through my tail rack, so I didn't have to give away any seat space.
Despite the clear fact that this hairy-chested adventure is an accomplishment in its own right, I was practicing my load out for the East Texas 450 next week. I have a Rotopax 1.75 gal. on the way. I'm not sure how I want to load that yet. I may be overpacking for that event, but I'm treating it as a dress rehearsal for the Shadows of the Rockies Trail this spring, and next year, the TAT.
One more pic of the loaded bike in all it's glory (notice the Garmin Montana in it's RAM mount, I'm still trying to figure that thing out).
