So I have done the drc edge light, three board later, removed and replaced with a butchered up version of the stock light. I had pit turn signals on from a buell blast, had em laying around. Now after some rather rough ice racing this year, the tail stock took quite a bit of abuse, turn signals all bent and broke, lens on tail light smashed and missing. So after all my winter maintenance was complete it was time to create a new tail stock for this little bike. I found and ordered in a new oem light from a ktm exc 300 then had to figure out how to make it work.
So I came up with a template using the old drc parts and then went to work, cutting, grinding and bending. Tis is what the bracket looks like.
Then after I got the light and some turn signals mounted.
And finally with the fender back in its proper location.
I also got an led mounted under the tail light to light up the plate properly. This whole system is still in the testing phase but seems to be working quite nicely. I am going to try and find some better material for this in the future and see about maybe making a few more if anyone might be interested. At this time these are all hand cut and hand bent so still looking into options.
