Helmet lock

Lock broke, not sure how since I don't use it that often. How does it attach? Has this happened to anyone else?
Will prob take it off if I can bum a torx bit from someone, but would like to have it on there.

Ya...mine just stopped locking for some reason, flopping around...i tried to lube it but no luck.
So, I took it off...then shortly after, I was going to chuck it...and tried it one more time...The freekin thing worked...go figure.
Anywho, I don't trust it or use it, so I'll leave it off.


Oops...just saw your pics...different issue.

Looks like you sheared off the locating pin that is part of the casting on the lock assembly. The pin locates into the oval hole of the mount. You must have had an impact against the lock that broke the pin.

Smacked my knee one time while throwing my leg over and off it went! Didnt use it and dont mind carying my helmet.
