Are the WRR and WRX engines interchangeable?

My WRR recently broke, and I can get a good deal on a WRX engine. As far as I know they should be the same engine... right?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're right. A dealership I talked to said the same thing but wasn't going to stake their reputation on it. Also the manual for the bikes are pretty much the same. I've done stupider things based on less evidence.
