Compared to the Ram ball mirrors :
Plastic mirror not as clear , clunky execution, Ram balls eventually don't hold position in the wind or at speed, installed with pliers or vice grips !? ( no wrench slot) +50% more expensive.

which makes the throttle side higher




will the set i want to purchase have the correct 10mm reverse thread without adapter? i want the mirrors to be the same height with no adapter used.



This pictures looks like it doesnt use the adapter but I cant tell if the right one has reverse thread

He bought the KTM version before I imported the Yamaha version.....so he is using a reverse thread adapter.

Yes to the 5498Y , all of the KTM mirrors are available for Yamaha , specific for Yamaha. No adapters needed.
