Hey y'all,

getting ready to cut the old chain off and replace but as the chain only has 800 miles on it I was thinking of holding on as a spare. I could not find a "master" link on the original chain, is it ok to press any old pin out to remove?

thanks!

If you have a chain break go for it, you can always master link it back together at a later date.

thanks Fifty, that's what I was thinking but figured a second opinion is good - especially before doing something like breaking a chain.

Yep - stock chains don't have a "masterlink".

Gotta cut them or completely remove swingarm to get them off.
