Hi folks,

My name's Andrew, I'm an automotive/motorcycle journalist for a site called Jalopnik.com mostly doing truck/off-road/and motorcycle stories.

Anyway I've just moved to Los Angeles, California and after looking at quite a few different dual sport bikes (KLR, DRZ, XR, F650) I found myself a 2008 WR250R that I really fell in love with.

Under that sneeze of stickers the thing looks pretty nice. Just ordered new blinkers and taillight from SR Moto as the ones here are pretty beat as well as new clutch/brake levers.

My plan is basically to keep it as a buzz-around-town bike and truck it out to the desert for some off-road action. I'm also hoping to do a round headlight and make it a more monochromatic white, but for the short term I'm just looking forward to riding it!
