Fuel pump bolts Empty
PostSubject: Fuel pump bolts   Fuel pump bolts EmptyTue Apr 05, 2016 11:12 am

I'm going to be fitting my recently received IMS 3gal tank, just wanted to know what the consensus is on tightening fuel pump bolts are. Sounds anal I know, but I don't want to thread the bolts so was wondering if anyone bothered using a torque wrench (4NM) to get the right tightness? I remember a bunch of peeps threading oil filter cover bolts on the CRFL forums.

when i installed my tank, i only tightened the bolts by hand, snug, a good snug....just keep going around, criss-cross, with a screwdriver type handle, not ratchet...
