| What's on your holiday gift list this year? Bike related: I definitely will have some rear turn signals at the top. I need to dispose of the stock ones pronto. Quick turn throttle tube. Cycra Front Fender Rear Sprocket & new chain Maybe some white Krylon spray paint. Gear: M/X pants and a jersey are going to be on there. Goggles - I want some with a heavy mirror/tint. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Backin' in a scooter. Well now I think I've seen just about everything. Add a Harley something-something-glide on the backin' it in list and it will be complete.
My Christmas list for the WR250X is: - have the rear shock rebuilt and re-valved since obviously Ohlins isn't coming out to play. - Scott steering stabilizer - new wheel bearings - repack swing-arm bearings - repack headset bearings | |

| WR250R or X. I haven't made up my mind yet. I already have a street bike, a chopped up M109R, so I have the power/speed thing covered. I want a bike to go into the woods and ride trails on. Mostly sugar sand here. I want to ride there BTW. |

| Not to interfere with anyone's Christmas list, but I would recommend the WRR if your main thing is off-road. You could always get some street rims later. | |

| I always thought it would be easier to put dirt tires on an extra set of X rims. Is an X hub the same as a R hub as far as rotor bolts go? |

| I'm not 100% sure. I have a recent post asking the same question. I'm trying to take some X rims and use them sometimes on my R. I wanted to put an R rotor on the X front rim but I think I found a better solution. I recently scored a full front brake setup from a X off of ebay (lever, master cyclinder, line, caliper). For the post above yours, I was just saying that if his main interest was woods/trails, it would make more sense to get the dirt setup first with the 18/21 wheel combo. Most people wouldn't want to go buy rims/tires,ect. immediately after purchasing a new bike just to get it to do what they wanted it for when there was already a bike ready to do that. | |
