any info on Stickers for safari tanks will help!

ive got a safari tank and didnt realise u need specialised stickers for them. i put a red bull sticker on and it pretty much just bubbles up and peals straight off. wanting any tips on types of stickers and where i can get them and if there are any u can get. dont make the same mistake i did!!!

Well, your question has languished for awhile. Sorry 'bout that.

While looking for graphics, I noticed that some of the MX graphic companies list graphics with slits or vents in them that are supposed to be for use on the plastic gas tanks.

I guess the plastic tanks slowly seep small amounts of vapor through the plastic's pores or??

I do not know if these vented decals will prevent blistering or not. Sorry, don't have any links on it. It's been awhile since I've been in the graphics sites.

Maybe someone else will speak up if they have tried these sorts of graphics...?

I put some ADV stickers on mine and they have lasted well. We did 1700 miles in a week off-road and they held up fine. They are very thick stickers though.

try this: Use alcohol and a cotton ball to clean the area that the sticker is supposed to be placed.

Once the spot is clean and dry, place sticker. It should make a big difference.

he did graphics for me on the standard shrouds but he does great work and probably could hook you up. worth a try
