Speedometer Empty
PostSubject: Speedometer   Speedometer EmptyTue Apr 27, 2010 12:21 pm

I am thinking to buy 45t rear spocket to my wr250x bike. But i founded this tekst here "The speedometer and odometer will give inaccurate readings if the
number of teeth on the sprocket is different from the original
equipment."

So if i now going to purchase this 45t rear sprocket what happend my speedometer? Does is show my speed right or wrong? If my original sprockets is now 13t front and rear 42t. I only wont to bigger rear sprocket.

And i am thinking too buy 150/60 rear tire. So... how much my speedometer show then wrong if i have 150/60 rear tire?

- And last is it possible to change speedometer setups to show right speed or something?

Your stock speedometer is already showing you false numbers.
Off by about 7%

Your odometer is correct though, assuming everything is stock.

Also assuming things are equal in Finland and America.

Maybe your stuff isn't as bad as ours is though.....
