easiest way to remove right footpeg

hey there, so the rear brake pedal is blocking the pin from coming out. is there a way to remove the peg without removing the brake pedal? thanks.

I removed the cotter pin where the brake pedal meets the master cylinder.
Then I was able the move the pedal up enough to get the footpeg pin out.
