Very good.

Curious why you feel you need a heat shield? Saddle bags? Safety?

Maybe Bigfeet just wants to retain that stock look? IMO if I paid money for an FMF pipe I would want to show it off not cover it up...... Very happy

I have the GiantLoop Cayote U-bag, which worked great on the WR250 with stock exhaust & shield.

I'll probably leave my Q4 heatshieldless, except the 2 or 3 times a year I'll use the Cayote, when camping. Then I'll attach the stock shield temporarilly in some ugly fashion...

PERFECT!!

Thanks Bigfeet. Now I know how to do it. I don't plan on removing the cover once it is installed (that is if I decide to do the modinfication).

Thanks again.
