I bought a new 2008 WR250R last spring to use when I take my Son dirtbike riding on his new Kawasaki KLX140. I wanted street legal, and I have been nothing but pleased with my WR250R. I have done the following mods:
-Zeta Flasher Handguards with PowerMadd rearview spot mirrors
-Integrated 2002-2003 R1 tailight with cut down OEM Mudflap
-CustomLED flasher unit
-Folding Enduro Mirrors
-Dirtbike gear.com Enduro tail bag with Pelican Hardcase inside for tools
-First aid kit in place of OEM toolkit
-Full set of WR250X Supermoto wheels with 43t rear sprocket
-48T rear sprocket on Dirt wheel setup
-Seal savers on front fork
-Zeta engine plug covers
-Zeta oil fill plug
-Zeta Fork pressure relief valves
-WR250X Fork Protectors
-Custom 3/8" Aluminum Skid Plate
-ProTaper 7/8 aluminum Bars
-Modified Spark Arrestor for more flow
-Kenda Trackmaster Dirt tires
-Force radiator Guard
-Power Commander
Future mods include a complete removal of the catylitic converter and other restrictions (EXUP) from OEM Muffler. (I have a near new take off unit from another owner to play with)

I have been riding motorcycles since I was 16 (I am 38 now) My other bike is a 2002 Yamaha FZ1 which I use to sport tour on, attend track days, drag race and commute to work on. I work as a Field Service Engineer for electronics on Printing equipment and like to Snowboard, Kayak, mountain bike and other outdoor activities with my family.
