headlight wiring question SOLVED! Empty
PostSubject: headlight wiring question SOLVED!   headlight wiring question SOLVED! EmptyWed Mar 23, 2011 11:32 pm

Finally, finally i purchased my wr. got a great deal on a 08 wr250x in great shape. BUT, the PO decided to be motardy and replaced the front and rear lights assemblies with "street mod" cheapo LEDs. I'm going to revert to the original headlight and taillight.

So here's the rub. Took the crappy headlight off and lo and behold, a bundle of wires to the headlight, no plug. I've got two yellows, a black and a green. I bought a three pronged plug for the stock headlight. From the service manual it looks like it's just a matter of figuring out which wire goes in what hole. BUT, what do i do with the two yellow wires (hi). do i just use one yellow or combine them and then crimp to the plug?

i'm an electrical dumbass, so any help is much appreciated.
