Lithium ion battery Weight difference? cost? worth it?

how much weight difference would puting a lithium ion battery in it do?

If so the reported weight is approx. 20% of old school batteries. Along with a much increased service life.

These are going to be my next generation batteries on all my scooters. They cost loads but if service life is as advertised they will pay for themselves over and above. Not to mention the other advanatages...

They need to get past/solve their production delays though.

I've been wondering about lightweight batteries, too. We may need to wait til they get a few more bugs worked out:

I just bought one of these for my YFZ450R quad. The battery on the left is a gell cell pretty close to the same as my WRX battery. It weighs 7.5 lbs and the Antigravity battery weighs .75lb. It starts my 450 quad motor just fine, so I'm getting one for my wrx. It also saves a bunch of room.

There are cheaper ones out there, but most of them are cheaper chinese versions of the Lifepo4 batteries so be careful when purchasing them. Some may work ok on the WR. Remember......you get what you pay for.
