The facilities guy where I work asked me why I don't use the designated motorcycle parking slots.

I told him that the spots for motorcycles are under a tree that dripped sap all over my bike the last time I parked there.

So I chose a regular "car" spot much farther out in the parking lot. (I don't mind walking)

He busted up laughing. He then said....

"I seen you damn bike sitting out there with 4 or 5 pounds of dried mud caked all over it and you're worried about some clear tree sap??????" poser2

He's got a point - but on the other hand - I caused the mud to be on my X - but the tree sap dripping on it while I'm sitting in a cubicle is completely different.
I wouldn't appreciate some kid throwing mud on my X while I'm sitting in the office.

It was kinda funny though.............

Not to mention, mud comes off with water. Tree sap doesn't.
