Slip-On's Empty
PostSubject: Slip-On's   Slip-On's EmptyMon Jul 04, 2011 6:35 pm

Well, I'm thinking I want a slip on for my X, all my other bikes have had them except the DRZ that had a full Yoshi. I just have a couple questions first. The other night I took the end cap off to see how it sounded and loved the sound of it, it was loud enough, but still didn't have the look and when I drove it I was disappointed by the low end, it felt like it was spitting and sputtering and just didn't feel right at all, so I put the cap and arrestor back on and it feels better on the low end now, but the top end had more punch with it off. I'm just wondering if I just put a slip on will it feel like that, or do I need a power commander or fmf box to cure that issue no matter what I do. Because if I'm going with a slip on and power commander I might as well go with a full system and open up the air box while I'm at it but didn't really want to do all of that just yet, as the slip on will cure my needs for looks and sound. Anyways, I have tried searching the last few nights and can't come across any answers so any insight would be helpful!
