Shift Points Empty

This question was indirectly asked at SMJ.

What speeds are you going when you shift?

On my way home from work today I tried to pay close attention.

1st to 2nd was around 25mph - rev limited kicked in at 30mph
2nd to 3rd was around 40 - rev limiter kicked in at 48-ish
3rd to 4th was around 60 - rev limiter kicked in at 65-ish (I need to double check this one)

As my signature says I have a 12 tooth front gear. Stock rear.
No speedometer corrector or anything. My speeds are what the speedo reads uncorrected.

Just wondering what you guys are seeing based on your gearing, mods, and such.

The first four gears are rev limiter every time. I'll have to look at the speedometer next time. wink

Very happy

Shift into 2nd as soon as possible, this gives you time to goose it, clutch it up and shift into 3rd before hitting the rev limiter. Very happy
