Hi all, I am Juan. Currently looking for a new bike and someone suggested I pick up a WR250r. I don't have any experience off road, but I am always looking to learn new skills.

I've done some looking into this and it seems that the WR250r services like a street bike. I've also found that it's seat height is significantly higher than the Ninja 250 (another bike I am considering buying).

What I am wondering is how the WR250r handles in the twisties. I know the Ninja 250 isn't truly a sportbike, but I can ride that thing pretty hard into a corner and have it act as a sportbike for the most part. Is the same true of the WR250r? That's really the deal breaker and I joined here looking for some input as well as being able to self educate myself on some other parts of off road riding.
