Hi all, can you please provide some advice on what you think comprimises the best tool kit setup for the R2. Primarily for field work if and when something goes wrong.

The kit that comes with the bike is pretty light on, but might be enough?

Also what else do you carry with you when riding? Emergency tyre goo (sorry dont know what its called) and other things

New to riding in the dirt and I am very remote here in NW Western Australia and want to be prepared.

Cheers
Lance

At home, all I use is Snap-On tools...

On the Job all I use is Craftsman tools...

My most used tools are FOHM "boxet" wrencehs which are a wrench with a socket built on the end and, of course, the trusty T-Bar wrenches...

What about specific tools away from the home front...

the ultimate small/lightweight kit for repairs while on the trail - tyre levers and stuff like that?

Also what about spares? Tubes that sort of thing - all in the need to be prepared!

Cheers

I carry a pretty neat little Motion Pro compact tool kit in the fanny pack and use Moose Racing Tire levers with a small dual c02 inflator..

Awesome - just what I was looking for!

Will take a look and see if I can get them in Australia or if they will ship!

Thanks
