Continental TKC80 TwinDuro has 120/70-17 available

Not sure if everyone knows this yet, but the TKC80 TwinDuro is now available in a front 120/70-17 size. To my knowledge it's one of the first semi-aggressive tires that comes in the correct size for the front wheel on the WR250X. So is anyone using these on an X yet? I'm hoping for pics and a review, but I haven't been able to find anything after searching a lot. I'm wondering if these will work well on our bikes, or if the compound may be too stiff.

Haven't actually seen one in person yet but I know of a guy in anchorage Running a set on his cbr1000 all winter. I'm tempted to try them if I can't deal my x wheels for r wheels.

I would get them, but I literally found the new TKC80 tire in our size the day after I put my Distanzia's on. I got a great deal on the Distanzia's, but they are not cheap at any price! So I"m kind of holding out for a review on the TKC80's. I"m considering a set of 21"/18" dirt wheels, but if this would be a good all-around tire, they might be worth a try.

I have run both Distanzia's on a KLR650 and TKC 80's on a DR650SE. The Distanzia's are excellent in the street and I loved them. In the dirt, they were just so so but I bought them more for the street aspect . The TKC 80's to me are about as dirt worthy as you can get for a DOT tire. Kinda like the Dunlop 606. I didn't notice the noise in the street which some complain about. In the street they were fine for a 50/50 type tire. For my WR250X I plan on changing the stock tires out to a decent 80/20 tire.
