WRF250 wheels on WRR250

Do any of you know if they wheels from a yam wr250f will fit in my 250r i have a chance of buying some but they are a bit of a journey away so will not be able to try before i buy

I think the front axle are different sizes between the R and F models. Also I think the fork spacing is a little different as well.

Generally speaking, there's next to nothing from a F model that will simply bolt right onto an X or R model.

Again - this comes back to Yamaha being major a-holes with the naming designations of the motorcycles.

Our r's and x's are completely different machines from the ground up.

That doesn't mean with "some fabrication" that some things can't fit, but how much money and time you have to sink into getting some things to be interchangeable is a risk only you can judge worth taking.

Thanks for the info i will see if a wrr set come up sometime cant be arsed getting into spacers & things to find out no matter what they will not fit.
Yamaha really did design this bike from the ground up pity really as wr250f parts are plentiful
