| Since I have not found a tail with light output as bright as the factory setup (i brake for bright lights haha ... no, I'm thinking safety), here's what I came up with. Someone I think has done a similar setup. I left a piece of plastic below the brake light to protect the lens from stones being kicked up by the tire. Overall, it's a compromise due to safety first on LA streets and a half-decent improvement aesthetically over stock. I used a hacksaw to cut the plastic.

| Is that legal without a white light illuminating the plate? I guess if the sport bike squids can get away with it, then it's legal enough Looks good. | |

Looks good. Good catch. Not legal without the plate light. But yes, that's coming soon. I'm still debating whether to put the led strip that I can stick underneath the fender above the plate (hidden, cleaner install, but not sure how the 3M tape will handle rough duty use), or get the led plate holder bolt (this can take the abuse but there will be wires behind the plate). Suggestions are welcome. | |

| Nice job! If you add the plate light it will be legal AND very visible. I like the look of the DRC tail but it looks significantly less visible than the stocker. | |
