| Hello everyone,
Bought an immaculate (not for long I fear) WRR today after a 31 year gap from biking. Just managed to get my leg over the saddle so passed my fitness test. Can't wait to get going…roll on Sunday!

| Hi Simon,
Great to hear from you!
Not done it too much harm yet so don't worry - really enjoying it though!
I've ordered an FMF Q4, mega bomb header, EFI power programmer and 12 o'clock labs emulator. Also changing the gearing to a 47 sprocket on the back so it should make the bike really great off road. Children are quickly losing their inheritance.
Strangely though I can't seem to do the same stuff on a bike as when I was 20.....

| All good thanks - no damage to the bike.
No wonder you kept it for the road - it is a great road bike - much more comfortable than I remember my old ones being and so light and well balanced. How is your rebuild project going?

Tony yeah its a better road bike than its specs suggest, it cruises at 75-80 mph all day if you want , its far better than some bigger cc trail bikes on the road actually, well the dt is ready for primer then some paint and then I will put it back together with new seat and im done. My new bike arrives in next week but the shop are keeping it till march for me so I can get the 14 reg, then once I have that im going to look out for a 2 stroke enduro like a ktm 200/300 or husaberg 300 then maybe we can hit some lanes together ?. Also tony I never realised you were into car racing as well my uncle is marketing director of race car engineering, and he is one of the bods that put on the autosport show at the nec.

| Would love to do some trails with you thanks - let us know when you have the endure bike.
Yes I'm a complete racing addict I'm afraid - hence my children's bleak financial future. Was up at the Autosport show this month - some event - I really look forward to it each year as it breaks up the close season and I always see lots of stuff I want! Next year I'll go and say hello to your uncle if he will be up there again.

| Hi, Did my mods: And now have just finished my final, final mod yesterday - a pair of Zeta hand guards with built in indicators - I think they look a lot better, aside from the protection benefits. See what you think: OK that's job done - now I better get out of the garage and go riding! | |
