cold ride!

Not so much a ride report, but since the bike is still brand new to me, I thought I'd post up.  Went for a ride with some buds yesterday.  I ride street and off road with a mixed group of bikes, GSs, KTMs, Huskys, all displacements.  It was 32 deg F when we left, and we had to go about 20 miles on open country roads to get to where we wanted to ride.  Cold as hell, so I will definitely hook up a connector for my electric jacket before our next ride.  My little WR is still stock, but it managed to keep up fine even out on the open road.  Had a blast once we hit the woods.  There are definitely some advantages to having a small/light bike out in the boonies. 

Pretty impressed with the bike.  Just broke 400 miles, so I'm starting to push the engine a bit more.  Will change the oil/filter at 600 miles.  Going to order pipe, programmer, air filter and handguards this afternoon then pick a day to install it all and pull off the EPA crap.  That should really perk things up.

Come on Spring!!!!!!
