These were taken today along the C&D canal in Delaware.

I forget which forum member commented that I need to actually ride my bike. It was based on the fact that my bike looked so clean I think.
So today I found some dirt and mud along the canal

Here's what I brought home.

good job!! Now your bike feels like a real macho dirt bike.. :)

I still have mud stuck from my last mountain ride last friday.. i tried to hose it off, but some won't come.. I'll have to break out the power washer.

I don't mind a little mud.. but i prefer it in moderation.

Mud is why the R is better than the X! Maybe we need a topic like this...

The canal roads are fun! If you want to keep playing off road though, get a skid plate.

I've never had problems, but have heard of rocks getting kicked up and causing damage.

Yep...need a skid-plate...and probably some kind of bark-buster thingies to protect the levers from damage when I eventually dump bike. I thought about what a mess I'd be in if I broke off my clutch lever while back a good 10 or 15 miles from anything remotely real-world friendly.
