I researched a few jackets and narrowed it down to the FieldSheer Adventure ($149) & the Tour Master Transition 2 ($170). For me it was best bang for the buck, and after PM'ing a few ADV riders who had both jackets, I decided on the FS Adventure. I'm sure I'd be happy with each but I really really liked the look of FS in yellow, with the chest and back in black. It's hi vis but not over the top like a big ole sponge bob running down the trail. The other feature that really impressed me is the large wide reflective phoslite bars on the back. they are huge and awesome! The inner liner/jacket, removable collar extender and armor + durable shell = perfect for my needs!

Nice jacket. There are a ton of great deals to be had right now on "last" years models of jackets. I just got a First Gear Teton for $190. These things have a msrp of close to $400!! No better tiime than the present to get some new winter gear!
