FINALLY got around to trouble shooting it. Wonder if it took the regulator rectifier with it.

If it were me I'd replace the stock shunt regulator with a series regulator from Compu-Fire. I haven't done my home work on the stator: rewind, aftermarket or OEM? Maybe someone will have done it already and post it.

Can get a new one for 105. Ill probably just do that. Really not cool though. Only 13k miles on her and no abuse to speak of other than letting the battery run down a few times when I left the key in. That shouldn't have bothered it though since afaik it makes full power at all times.
