Yet another tire advice question...

I read most of the threads... and got even more confused. I bought a used WR250X with BT090 to use US Virgin Islands. Tires will need replacement soon.
This is what I do now
- No freeway use
- Twisties -- hospitals suck here, so feedback when I'm pushing it too far is perhaps more important that high stickiness...
- Mileage not that important, price therefore not a primary issue
and I'd like to add the following:
- 20% gravel roads
- steep hills, basically a mix of broken asphalt, potholes, gravel
- tropical rains, lots of water everywhere you ride
- so I think I need "traction".

Anyone willing to give me the "Cliff Notes"? Thanks!

read it....think about what you read....then buy some tires and report back what you like and don't like.

Have you ever gone to a movie people tell you is awesome and you thought it was dull and boring?

At some point you just have to make your own choice and then live with it.

You want the best 80/20 tire for a supermoto - go with Avon Distanzia in the soft supermoto compound.

You want ultimate stick on the street - buy just about any sportbike compound tire and have a blast.
